information about deleting your data from dropspace
how to delete your data
option 1: delete from dropspace settings
disconnect your accounts directly from our platform
- log in to your dropspace account
- navigate to settings → connections
- find the Facebook or Instagram account you want to disconnect
- click disconnect next to the account
- confirm the disconnection when prompted
this will immediately delete all OAuth tokens and connection data for that account.
option 2: remove from Facebook/Instagram
revoke access through your Meta account settings
for Facebook:
- go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- find "dropspace" in the list of active apps
- click "Remove" to revoke access
- check "Delete all posts, photos or videos..." if you want to remove content
- confirm the removal
for Instagram:
- open Instagram and go to your profile
- tap Settings → Security → Apps and Websites
- find "dropspace" under Active apps
- tap "Remove" to revoke access
when you remove the app from Facebook or Instagram, your connection data will be automatically removed from dropspace.
what data is deleted
when you disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account, we delete:
- OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens
- account identifiers (Facebook User ID, Instagram User ID)
- account metadata (username, profile information)
- page and business account connection data
note: content that was published to Facebook or Instagram through dropspace remains on those platforms. to delete published content, you must do so directly on Facebook or Instagram.
data retention
we may retain certain data for a limited period after deletion for the following purposes:
- compliance with legal obligations
- fraud prevention and security
- dispute resolution
- backup systems (automatically purged within 30 days)
